Trumbull High School students participate in National Spanish Exam
On March 20, 56 students from level three Spanish at Trumbull High School voluntarily participated in the National Spanish Exam (contest), an online, standardized assessment tool given voluntarily to various levels by about 4,000 teachers throughout the U.S. to measure performance and achievement of students who are studying Spanish as a second language. The National Spanish Examinations are the most widely used tests of Spanish in the U.S. This spring, around 30,000 students took the level 3 exam. Of the 56 students, Trumbull High School had five silver medals, 10 bronze, and 14 honors. The Silver award winners are: Eric Sorge, Arnav Srivastava, Camryn Fetzer, Christopher Gayda, Falcon Sirichantho. The Bronze award winners are: Daniel Pitagora, Rachel Hage, Kyle Beck, Nikitha Devanboyina, Simone Dewar, Lillian Griffin, Carmen Phan, Saloni Shah, Claudia Zhang, Diane Zou. The following students earned Honor: Amy Tran, Kylie Forstrom, Dana Jurgielewicz, Trinhan Le, Rhiannon Lenz, Dakota Minick, Jada O’Meara, Julia Roberto, Annika Stadler, Damian Raptopoulos, Emily Clausi, Lauren Giuliano, Nigel Hayes, Seth Zweig.
