World-renowned violin virtuoso Alexander Markov will collaborate with the students of the Regional Center for the Arts (RCA) in a spring concert on Wednesday, May 13, 7:30 p.m., at the Regional Center for the Arts, Main Theater, 23 Oakview Drive, Trumbull. He will be performing music from the classical canon, as well as soloing on his famous six-string electric golden violin with the RCA jazz combo.

This performance will feature students from Bridgeport, Fairfield, Monroe, Newtown, Redding, Shelton, Stratford, and Trumbull performing musical selections made famous by Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Michael Jackson, Tito Puente, Alicia Keys, Louis Jordan, and many other acclaimed artists.

Admission is $5 at the door, general seating, with a cap of $20 per family. Doors open at 7 p.m. All proceeds support RCA programs.
