Schools seeking nominations for Trumbull's 'Teacher of the year'
Trumbull Public Schools is seeking nominations from the community for its 2015 Teacher of the Year.
The purpose of the Teacher of the Year program is to recognize and honor teacher excellence. The school district said the aim is not to select the “best” teacher rather to identify from among many outstanding candidates, one teacher to serve as a visible and vocal representative of what is best in the profession. The program celebrates excellence in teaching by recognizing teachers who have inspired a love for learning in their students and who have distinguished themselves in the profession.
Nomination forms can be found in the main office of each school or can be downloaded from trumbullps.org.
Nominations must be completed and returned by May 28.
