The Spooktacular Trunk or Treat will be Friday, Oct. 27. Tickets are now available for purchase. This is a fun event for the students. Tickets will be available that night as well.
Please send in your Box Tops. The class that sends in the most Box Tops by Nov. 1, will win two nights of no homework.
The Book Fair will be held from Nov. 8-10.
Parent conferences will be held during the afternoons on Monday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Nov. 2. Both days have a 1 p.m. early dismissal. Evening parent conferences will be held on Nov. 8.

The Frenchtown students are working on acts of Kindness. There is a large blue postal mailbox in the lobby gathering random acts of kindness. Those kind acts are highlighted during our morning announcements.
The KINDNESS Club is collecting new pairs of socks to donate to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission to help those in need during Socktober.
Read Aloud Day is Thursday, Oct. 26. Each class will have a guest reader come to their class. Fourth grade will be on a field trip to the CT Science Center. Guest readers have been scheduled for Friday, Oct. 27.
Our PTA Halloween Spooktacular Party will be held on Friday, Oct. 27. Flyers were sent home. There are two sessions: 5:30-7 p.m., and 7:30-9 p.m. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event.
Friday, Oct. 27, is the deadline to purchase your Disney on Ice discounted tickets for Frenchtown families. The show is on Friday, Jan. 5, at 7 p.m., at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport. Tickets are $25 each.
Monday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Nov. 2, will be legal day dismissals at 1 p.m., for afternoon conferences. Wednesday, Nov. 8, will also be a legal day dismissal at 1 p.m., but for evening conferences. No lunch will be served on all three dates. Conferences are by appointment only and sign-ups are online.
The Frenchtown Fathers’ Club will be holding their first Parents Night Out on Saturday Nov. 4. They will start with an exclusive showing of Bad Mom Xmas at Bow Tie Cinemas at 5 p.m., followed by an evening of food and fun at InSports from 7-10 p.m. A flyer was sent home.
No school for students on Tuesday, Nov. 7, Election Day. Teachers will participate in Professional Development workshops.
Nov. 22 will be a legal day dismissal at 1 p.m., with no lunch served.

Parent-teacher conferences will take place Monday, Oct. 30, and Friday, Nov. 2, in the afternoon, and on Wednesday, Nov. 8, in the evening. Middlebrook will call early dismissal and lunch will not be served on Oct. 30 and Nov. 2, to allow parents time to meet with teachers.
