PTA enrollment has been extended. Families who join by Sept. 23 will be listed in the printed and electronic version of the Tashua PTA directory. The $12 dues help provide the basic necessities of the PTA (insurance, directories, planners, e-blasts, etc.). To join online, visit tashuaschool.com/pta_membership_and_directory.
Thursday, Sept. 18, 3:30-4:30 p.m., fifth graders will meet in the cafeteria to decorate the Friday Night Lights Banner that will be used at the Trumbull High football game on Friday, Sept. 19.
Friday Night Lights at THS, Sept. 19. 5:30 p.m. Tailgating, 7 p.m. Game. Tashua students and siblings under 10 do not pay admission. Place dinner orders online at tashuaschool.com/friday-night-lights. There will be prizes, photo ops, a Tashua announcer, games, an Honorary Football Captain, face painting, hamburgers, hot dogs and snacks. This event helps raise funds for fifth grade activities.
The Fall After School Enrichment (ASE) program listing is available for preview at tashuaschool.com/fall-ase-is-here. The program listing and enrollment forms are scheduled to be sent home in backpacks on Friday, Sept. 19. Enrollment forms will be available on the website the weekend of Sept. 19. Enrollment will begin on Monday, Sept. 22 and end on Monday, Sept. 29.
Tashua PTA fundraising will begin this week. Direct donation forms and Genevieve’s catalogues will be sent home this week. Visit the website for details.
The first PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center.
Help support Tashua 5th grade activities by participating in the Square 1 ART fundraiser. Students' artwork can be turned into useful keepsakes, like mouse pads, iPad cases, holiday decorations, gifts and much more. Students create their artwork on the special art paper provided and return to school by Friday, Oct. 3. Every student will receive free stickers and a custom catalog of their artwork.
