Sensitivity Day will be held on Friday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m.-noon. The program is composed of two parts: (1) A read-aloud for K, 1, 2, 3 and 5 classrooms where community volunteers will be reading an age appropriate book about a learning or physical disability; (2) A hands-on learning session for 4th graders. The goal of this program is to recognize diversity, respect differences and educate students on how to best interact with their peers, the community and beyond.

The School Store will be open on Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Students can bring money in to purchase supplies and other fun items during lunch.

The Fall Fling Dance and Ice Cream Social will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, exclusively for grades K-2 (no siblings or other students, please). Students must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event. This is a free event. RSVP online by Oct. 10 at tashuaschool.com/fall-fling-rsvp/.
