First day of school is Tuesday, Aug. 26. Students will begin school at 8:35 a.m. and will be dismissed at 3:20 p.m. Students should either pack lunch or bring money to purchase lunch. Parents can also send checks to deposit money into students’ SNAP accounts or set up an account atMyLunchMoney.com. Students should also bring in one healthy food item and a drink, preferably water, for snack. Water bottles are also recommended as the weather is usually hot the first few weeks of school.

All back-to-school forms are available online at http://tashuaschool.com/back-to-school-forms. Parents are asked to complete these forms as soon as possible.

School pictures will be taken Friday, Sept. 5. More information will be sent home in backpacks.

Back-to-School Picnic: Friday, Sept. 5 at 5 p.m. Pack a dinner and meet in the courtyard for the first family event of the school year.

Back to School Night: Tuesday, Sept. 9. Parents only. Parents will meet with their children’s classroom teachers to learn about the grade level curriculum and understand the expectations for the year.

•6:30-7:15 p.m. Grades 3-5. Meet in child’s classroom.

•7:25-7:55 p.m. Informational session in the gym for all parents.

•8-8:45 p.m. Grades K-2. Meet in child’s classroom.

The first Father’s Club meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. in the Media Center/Library.
