Christian Heritage School
Admissions testing on Saturday, May 18. Check-in time is at 8:30 and testing begins at 9 a.m. Pre-registration is required, 203-261-6230, ext. 555.
The Spring Picnic and Drive-In Movie Night will be held on Friday, May 17 (rain date May 31). Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and movie will be played at dusk.
The Spring Varsity Athletic Awards program is scheduled for Monday, May 20, at 6:30 p.m.
The new Summer Camp program is open to the public and available for boys and girls entering grades K-8. Registration information available at www.kingsmen.org.
Moms In Prayer meets every Monday morning right after drop-off from 7:45-8:45 a.m., in the Conference Room.

Daniels Farm School
The DFS Variety Show is this Friday, May 17, at the Trumbull High School auditorium, starting at 7 p.m. Join us for our big “Back to the 80s show; tickets are still available. Contact Danielle Forma for more information.
The DFS Father’s Club is hosting its 1st annual Dolphin Dash, this Sunday, May 19, at 11 a.m., on the Old Field Road trail. Prizes will be given for highest participation by class. $5 per person walking/running with a family maximum of $20. Sign up by May 15. Contact Ian Hall for more information.
Fourth grade Author’s Night is on Thursday, May 30. The PTA is looking for both 4th grade parents and 3rd grade parents to help with this annual event. Contact Leslie Davis for more information.
The PTA is looking for volunteers to assist the kindergartners during lunch hours, to help in the Media Center and the Variety Show. Visit the DFS website and click on the iVolunteers link to sign up and help.

The in-school grades 2 and 5 chorus concert for students will be Friday, May 17 at 2 p.m.
The last PTA meeting of this school year will be Tuesday, May 21 at 7:30 p.m. Elections for 2013-14 will be held. Come join us to see what’s planned for the end of the year and to get involved for next year.
The 5th grade Science Fair will be Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m. in the cafetorium, and from 9 a.m.-noon on Friday, May 24 for the students. Every class in grades K to 4 will have a science fair project displayed in the main lobby.
RSVPs for the 10th annual PTA Banquet are due by May 24. Dinner is on Wednesday, May 29, 7 p.m., at Panino’s in Monroe. Flyers were sent home.

Tashua families are invited to see the students’ artistic creations on display tonight, Thursday, May 18, at the Tashua Art Show from 7-8:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.

Tashua School has new colors, a new song and our new T.I.G.E.R.S. acronym/attitude. Get your orange and blue on and join us to march in the Memorial Day Parade. Let’s show the town our school pride and spirit while honoring our veterans. We have many staff members and families joining us. Bring your Brownies, Girl Scouts, Boys Scouts, school clubs, student council, your grade, your friends. Meet at 9 a.m., Marisa’s parking lot. We will be a sea of orange and blue. The parade will proceed south from there to Town Hall at approximately 10:45 a.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Madison Middle School
Auditions will be held for Thoroughly Modern Millie, at Madison Middle School on Friday, May 31, from 1-6 p.m., and Saturday, June 1, from 1-6 p.m. Additional callbacks will be held on Monday, June 3, from 5-10 p.m.
Auditions are open to students entering 9th grade (Fall 2013) through age 21. No experience necessary. Performances will be held June 1-4.
