Booth Hill School
May 30 (today): Kindergarten welcome will start at 9 a.m.; 4th grade field day, (rain date) Friday, May 31: Lott the Story Teller visits 5th grade classroom.
June 3: Climate control assembly, K-2 at 9:30 a.m., and grades 3, 4 and 5 at 1:50 p.m.
June 4: Fifth grade special ed students visit Hillcrest; annual “Night at the Ballpark,” (Rain Date); 2nd and 3rd grade field day.
Fifth grade Variety Show dress rehearsal at Madison Middle School; K and 1st grade field day.
June 6: BHS Art Show 6-8 p.m.; Late kindergarten registration at Tashua; Second and third grade field day (Rain Date).

Christian Heritage School
The Lower School Field Days are scheduled for Monday, June 10 (grades K-2) and Tuesday, June 11 (grades 3-5), from 8-11 a.m. Dads are encouraged to participate.
The last Mom’s Book Club meeting of the school year will be on Tuesday, June 4, from 8-9:30 a.m., in the Lower School Library. The group will discuss Unwritten by Charles Martin.
The Baccalaureate Service will be held on Friday, June 7, at 5 p.m., at Calvary Church in Trumbull. Graduation is scheduled for 2 p.m., on Saturday, June 8, at CHS.
The new Summer Camp program is open to the public and available for boys and girls entering grades K-8. Registration information available at kingsmen.org.
Moms In Prayer meets every Monday morning right after drop-off from 7:45-8:45 a.m., in the Conference Room.

Daniels Farm School
Fourth grade Author’s Night is (tonight), Thursday, May 30.
The annual Egg Drop contest is Friday, May 31, at 2 p.m. All are welcome to watch in the parking lot as the classroom boxes are dropped from the local Trumbull Fire Department ladder truck.
The DFS June Fair is Saturday, June 1, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. A $10 wristband includes bounces houses, obstacle courses, face painting, 5th grade dunk tank, games, raffle prizes and more. The Father’s Club will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, snow cones and cotton candy. Raffle tickets will be sold during lunch today, Thursday, May 30 and Friday, May 31, 25¢ each, 5 for $1, and 25 for $5. Raffles and wristbands are also available at the door. This event is held rain or shine. DFS alumni and parents who are interested in volunteering to help during the event, contact Lesley Guzzetta at email@example.com.
The next PTA meeting will be held on Monday, June 3, at 7 p.m. The DFS Spring Concert is Tuesday, June 4, at 7 p.m., at Madison Middle School. Due to weather, Field Day has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 18, with a June 19 rain date.

June’s Character Trait of the Month is Helpful and the Country of the Month is the USA.
Grade 5 will have their end of year picnic at the YMCA on Wednesday, June 5.
Students and staff should wear blue and white on Tuesday, June 4 for Spirit Day. The band and strings concert will be held that evening at 7 p.m., in the cafetorium.
The Father’s Club will meet at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5. All are invited to attend and find out what’s being planned.
Kindergarten Kinderfest program will be Thursday, June 6, at 9 a.m., in the cafetorium.
The final meeting for this school year for the Town Wide Cultural Diversity Committee will be at 7p.m., at Frenchtown on Thursday, June 6. All are welcome.
Hillcrest Middle School
The 8th grade family breakfast, celebrating the 2013 HMS graduates, will be Thursday, June 20, 8:30-10:30 a.m., in the cafeteria. RSVP by Friday, June 7 at pta.ivolunteer.com/brkfst_001. To RSVP, click on “Volunteer,” (which means guest), enter your email address, and check box below email address to confirm. Enter student’s first and last name and include the number attending by entering the number of guests after the last name, so that we can plan for food and drink quantities. Save the date: The Circus is coming to Tashua. The Odd Fellows Performers will be at Tashua School on Friday, June 7, at 6:30 p.m. to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year. There will be an in-school program during each PE class on June 10 and June 12.
“Pennies for Pups” — The graduating class will be having an ice cream social before the Circus on June 7, starting at 5 p.m. A $3 donation or a donation of one of the many items needed for the animal shelter will get you a dish of ice cream served with animal cookies made by the 5th grade class. All proceeds to benefit the Bridgeport Animal Shelter as part of the 5th Grade Community Service. Items needed are: Kitten and cat food (dry and canned); dog and puppy food (dry and canned); hot dogs; cat litter (scoopable); towels; blankets; bath towels/mats; cat toys; dog care items (dog toys, collars, leashes, training chains - all sizes, muzzles - all sizes, carriers - all sizes).
