Frenchtown School
Friday, Sept. 25 will be the culmination of our week celebrating Peace that began Monday, Sept. 21 with the International Day of Peace.  We will unveil our new Peace Pole and Garden at 1:45 p.m.  Students took part in our annual Hoops for Hope program. Students shot 10 baskets during their gym class.  In art, students created small banners as part of their classroom “weave” project which will be displayed throughout the school.

Monday, Sept. 28, the District will be holding a SBAC parent meeting at Frenchtown School in the cafetorium in the evening.  More details will be sent home.

Thursday, Oct. 1 is school photo day at Frenchtown.  Flyers were sent home.  All students will be photographed.  Don’t forget to send in your form with payment or pay online.

Every Tuesday will be Spirit Day.  Students and staff will wear blue and white, Frenchtown spirit wear or a shirt with a Wolf on it. The last Tuesday of every month is Citizenship Day when students and staff wear red, white and blue.

Jane Ryan School
The fall fundraising drive concludes on Friday, Sept. 25.  The last “Puppy Incentive” turn-in date is Friday, Sept. 25.  Detailed instructions for parents are included in the packets.  

The next school store will be held on Thursday, Oct. 1 from 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m.  Koalas, Beanie Ballz backpack clips, and a slew of new products, including Apple Watch and Gameboy erasers, birthstone bear keychains and heart sticky notes are in stock and ready to fly off the shelves.  Contact Jen Kane with any questions.

The first PTA meeting is Thursday, Oct. 1 in the school library at 7 p.m. We hope you can join us to learn about all the great events we have planned for the year.

The Jane Ryan Pumpkin Fair has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24.  More information will follow.

The Jane Ryan Father’s Club needs your help.  Attend their monthly meeting (2nd Thursday of the month in the Jane Ryan library) and hear about upcoming events, including Movie Night on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 p.m.  Fliers to sign up for the Father’s Club went home in your child’s backpacks.

The Jane Ryan Online School Directory and PTA Membership.  The PTA is using a secure online school directory database called myschoolanywhere.com (MSA).  You will be able to join the JR PTA with secure online payment by credit card or PayPal and also be able to make contributions to the PTA.  Jane Ryan PTA Membership is $10 per family ($7 for staff/faculty) and $2 for a printed copy of the Jane Ryan directory (optional).  More Details coming home soon.
