Williston Northampton School, a coeducational boarding and day school for students in seventh grade through post-graduate year, has announced Olivia Cuevas, class of 2016, made the honor roll for the second trimester.

Jane Ryan School

New or used books in good condition can be donated to the Jane Ryan Book Drive. A box is in front of the Media Center at school. Any questions, contact Mrs. Beccaria.

Hobbies to Help Others will be at Jane Ryan on Friday, April 11. Families are asked to donate $1 for each child who participates. The kids will share their interests in class during the day and help others guess their hobby. Kids are encouraged to wear their favorite team jersey, show off something they’ve made and/or prepare a simple dance/karate move. $1 donations will support the upcoming St. Baldrick’s event at Baker Pediatrics to help find a cure for pediatric cancer.

The Father’s Club is hosting it’s annual golf tournament on May 12 and The Sound Tigers Family Fun Night for Jane Ryan families at Webster Bank Arena. The Sound Tigers take on the Hartford Wolf Pack. Tickets are $18 per person, normally $36. Contact Dave Schneider with questions. A flier went home in your child’s backpack and checks should be made out to the Jane Ryan Father’s Club.

Tashua School

Club Invention After-School Program grades 1-5. April 30-May 28, Wednesdays 3:30-5 p.m., at Tashua Elementary School, rooms 18 and 20. Registration deadline: April 11. Seating is limited. Fee: $59 per child - Checks should be made payable to: Tashua PTA. For questions, contact Susan Charamut.

Final acts for the Variety Show are due Friday, April 11.

If any 5th grade parent would like to replace or order another Class of 2014 t-shirt, contact Kristen Cunha. Shirts are $10 each with a group order of at least 12. Deadline is April 20.

On Wednesday, April 23, the PTA will host a visit from childrens’ author Steve Swinburne. Swinburne is passionate about the natural world, loves to observe nature and wildlife, and is an advocate for endangered animals. To find out more about Swinburne, visit his website at steveswinburne.com.
