Patterned planters — A perfect Mother’s Day garden gift! Coffee cans transform into cool planters. Potting soil, flower seed packet and hand painted “garden marker” compete the gift. Monday, May 5, 4:15-5:15 p.m. Cost: $15/child. Ages 6 and up.

Gyotaku fish prints and mosaic wall plaques — Something special for Father’s Day too! Using rubber models of natural specimens, create a beautiful fish print just like ancient Asian fishermen. Then, design a beautiful bean and seed mosaic fish, mounted on a wooden board, ready for display. Wednesday, May 7, 4:15-5:15 p.m. Cost: $15/child. Ages 6 and up.
