Give me a 'T!' Tashua unveils new school song
Tashua Elementary School hosted a special assembly last Friday to kick-off its Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support Program, using the school’s Tigers mascot as an acronym for six characteristics — Tolerance, Integrity, Generosity, Empathy, Responsibility, Self-control. The school will be spending a week discussing and learning about each character trait. The assembly unveiled the new “Tashua School Song” that music teacher, Tyler Cohen and some of the staff composed. Cohen brought members from his band, Forget Paris, and Gabe Weitzman, Trumbull High student and son of Tashua teacher was on drums. The school song is a play on "Eye of the Tiger."
