Courtney Forde, first grade teacher at Tashua School, has been selected as Tashua Teacher of the Year by her colleagues. Forde is an exceptional educator who provides differentiated instruction for the wide range of learners in her classroom. She began her teaching career as a kindergarten teacher at Tashua in 2008 and moved to first grade this school year. All of her students’ parents and several staff members submitted nomination letters on her behalf. In their testimonials, parents provided glowing accolades about her, mentioning her ability to strike the right balance between being nurturing but firm when necessary, as well as her creative and entertaining approach to teaching. They also noted that her students look forward to going to school every day.
While there was a number of strong recommendation letters, the committee selected Forde to represent Tashua School.
