The Trumbull Historical Society, located at 1856 Huntington Tpke., will participate in Conn. Open House Day, on Saturday, June 8, from noon to 4 p.m. The Abraham Nichols Park behind the Historical Society is part of the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route, and is believed to be the sight of a French encampment during the war. The museum will be open with exhibits, a special touch a trunk for children, and refreshments.
