The Fairfield County Children’s Choir will present “Spotlight: Broadway,” its 19th annual Broadway-themed concert-, at The Klein Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m.

Many of Connecticut’s best student soloists will step into the spotlight when the FCCC raises the curtain on a selection of Broadway show-stoppers.

The group of 300 young singers will present favorites from the hit musicals The Lion King, Godspell, The Sound of Music and The Secret Garden. In addition to choruses and solos, the FCCC orchestra will join the children on stage. Jon Noyes, Lisa Bettke, Kevin Cotellese and Ashley Zadravecz will conduct.

A gala silent auction to benefit the choir will be held at The Klein before the concert and during intermission. Donated auction items up for bid will include gourmet gift baskets, music lessons, jewelry and autographed children’s books. Auction bidding begins at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and $20 and will be available at the door the day of the performance or by calling 203-414-4292.
