CROP Walk meeting
On Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m., the CROP Hunger Walk Committee will hold its wrap up meeting at Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road. Summer Camp program
Congregation B’nai Torah, 5700 Main St., is accepting applications for the 2015 summer program. Designed for children 2 1/2 to 5-years-old, the program runs from June 22 to Aug. 7. Features seven weeks of summertime fun including weekly themes and highlighting water and sand play, woodworking and outdoor discovery. Air conditioned classrooms provide a comfortable indoor environment. Vacation Bible School
Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave. (between highways 15 and 8; across the street from City Line Florist), invites the children of the community to its “International Spy Academy ... where kids investigate and discover the truth about God” Vacation Bible School program which will meet daily, Monday-Friday, Aug. 10-14, from 9:30 a.m.-noon. Children ages 4 through 11 will participate in activities involving "cracking codes and uncovering clues,” Bible stories, uplifting music, indoor and outdoor games, fun crafts and snacks.
