Holiday concert and spaghetti supper
Nothing gets you into the Christmas spirit more than an evening of holiday music. On Saturday, Dec. 19, the monthly concert will be held at Trumbull's Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St. There are several artists performing, including the renowned Long Hill United Methodist Choir. Also entertaining will be the Bridgeport Boy's Choir, along with other guest singers and musicians performing to get you into a holiday mood.
The concert starts at 7 o'clock in the church's decorated sanctuary. It will be preceded by the monthly spaghetti and meatball supper: Spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and beverages for $11; $10 for seniors. Meatballs are 50¢ each. Dinner starts at 5:30 p.m., with doors opening at 5.

Christmas worship services
Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave., (across the street from City Line Florist), invites the members of the community to its Christmas worship services. The Christmas Eve Candlelight Cantata Service at 7 p.m., is entitled "Let There Be Christmas." The choir sets the tone for joyful worship as the birth of the Savior is celebrated in word, song and proclamation. Traditional carols will be sung. Christmas festivities continue at the Christmas Day worship at 9:30 a.m., which includes traditional carols.

New Kids Club
Children in grades k-6 are invited to enroll in a new Wednesday-night Kids Club at Long Hill Baptist Church, 100 Middlebrook Ave., (near Middlebook Elementary School), from 7-8:30 p.m. Each meeting will feature games, singing and a Bible study. There is no cost to attend.
Parents are invited to join an adult Bible Study, which also meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.
