Trumbull resident snaps photos of Pope Francis in Philadelphia (SLIDESHOW)
The City of Brotherly Love had a special guest visitor over the weekend when Pope Francis completed his historic six-day tour of the United State with a mass in front of hundreds of thousands, and a Trumbull resident was there to witness it all.
Brooke Goulden, a sophomore at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia who graduated from Lauralton Hall Catholic School in 2014, assisted at the mass Sunday and took some great pictures over the weekend of the Pope's visit.
In the third leg of his trip that also took him to New York and Washington, the Pope traveled around the streets of Philadelphia and up and down the main road of the SJU campus.
The Pope stayed at a seminary which is across the street from Goulden's dorm, where she was able to witness first-hand a lot of the security measures taken to assure the religious leader's safety.
