Christmas pageant and tree lighting
After the 4 p.m. mass on Saturday, Dec. 15, students from St. Catherine of Siena School will perform their Christmas pageant, and afterwards, head outside to the front lawn for the third annual Christmas tree lighting, with hot chocolate and cookies for everyone. Pancake breakfast with St. Nick
Breakfast with St. Nick at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Road will take place on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 8-11 a.m., to support our ministries. Menu includes pancakes (gluten free available), sausage, juice and choice of beverage. Cost is $10 per person for “the works”, $5 per person/child for pancakes and beverage only. St. Nick will have age appropriate presents for the children. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Trumbull Food Pantry.
Spaghetti dinner and free Christmas Holiday Concert
Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., (Route 111) in Trumbull will hold their Christmas Holiday Concert at this month's dinner/concert series on Saturday, Dec. 15, starting at 5:30 p.m.,with homemade spaghetti and meatball dinner.

Dinner includes pasta, two sauce choices, meatballs, garlic bread, salad, beverages and desserts.

Cost for dInners: $5 for children; $11 for seniors and $12 for adults.

At 7 p.m.,  will be the Bridgeport Boy's Choir, the noted Long Hill United Methodist Church choir with special friends and musicians and a night of favorite Christmas music.

Advent Adoration
The Parish of St. Catherine of Siena, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull, is providing an oasis of peace and quiet, in the presence of Our Lord Himself, in the Blessed Sacrament. On Monday, Dec. 17, Adoration will take place from 7-8 p.m, and will include a brief reflection from a guest Homilist and conclude with Benediction.

The Monday evening reflection will be provided by Father John Connaughton. On Tuesday, Dec. 18, Adoration will take place from 7-9 p.m., and confessions will be heard. For more information, call 203-377-3133.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Mass will be celebrated at the Parish of St. Catherine of Siena, 220 Shelton Road, on Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24, at 4 p.m.; prelude music begins at 3:45 p.m.

At 6 p.m., mass will be celebrated, especially for families with younger children. The parish Children’s Choir will sing, and prelude music begins at 5:45 p.m.

The Parish Choir, soloists and instrumentalists will provide prelude music beginning at 11:30 p.m., on Dec, 24. The Midnight Mass of Christmas will begin at midnight.

On Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, mass will be celebrated at 8, 10 a.m., and noon. The parish will celebrate a festive mass with choir and instrumentalists at 10 a.m.

All masses will be held in the McClinch Family Center during construction on the Christ at the

Center sanctuary beautification project.

The Solemnity of Mary, The Holy Mother of God mass will be celebrated on New Year’s Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1 at 8 and 10:30 a.m. The Solemnity of Mary is a Holy Day of Obligation. For more information, call 203-377-3133.
