Easter for Kids program
The 23rd annual Easter for Kids program will be held at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave., on Saturday, March 19, from 1-4 p.m. The children of the community ages 4-11 are invited for an Easter egg hunt, crafts, recreation, singing, snacks and activities about the first Easter. Corned beef dinner
Christ Church Tashua, 5170 Madison Ave., will hold their annual corned beef dinner at Christ Church Tashua on Saturday, March 19, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Adults: $15 per person or two for $25; Seniors: $12.50; children under 12: $7. the dinner will feature homemade corned beef and cabbage, plus mac and cheese, for kids, vegetarians, and others so inclined. Feel free to bring a dessert to share. This year, there will be a Pick A Prize table. Tickets for the drawing will be available at the door. For questions, call 203-268-5566.
Spaghetti dinner and free concert
Trumbull's Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St. (Route 111), will be holding their spaghetti dinner and free concert on Saturday, March 19, starting with dinner at 5:30 pm. The dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread, beverages, dessert and, for $.50 each, homemade meatballs. The cost is $12, $11 for seniors.
At 7 p.m., the free concert begins with lyric soprano Krista Adams Santilli. She has starred in operas, concerts, musicals and plays and hits all the right notes from opera to jazz to Broadway show tunes. She is one of our top draws every year.

Taize prayer services during Lent
Trumbull Congregational Church, 3115 Reservoir Ave., invites you to experience contemplative prayer in the style of Taize from 6:30-7 p.m., during Lent. Taize prayer is both beautiful and simple, featuring candle light, iconography, and a quiet space for worship. It cultivates intimacy with God through meditative singing, scripture reading, silence, and intercession. Taize prayer services will continue on Monday evenings through March 21.

Good Friday service
A Good Friday service will be held on March 25 at noon, sponsored by Trumbull Interfaith Council at Nichols United Methodist Church, 35 Shelton Road, Trumbull. The Rev. David Piscatelli is the Pastor. The offering will benefit the Pastoral Counseling Center of Trumbull. 203-375-5817 for info.
Dinner show fund-raiser with Jack Lynn
Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road, Trumbull will hold a dinner show charity fund-raiser on Saturday, April 2, 5:30 p.m., with special guest, Jack Lynn. He will perform his “Dino” style and sound that will take you back to the “Swingin’ Rat Pack Years” of the late 40’s, 50’s and 60’s, as he sings all the great tunes made famous by Dean Martin. Tickets, $15 adult, $6 children and special $35 for family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children). The ticket includes food, soft drinks, entertainment and one raffle door prize ticket. All proceeds go to Haitian Helping Hands non-profit organization.

CROP Hunger Walk kick-off rally
On Sunday, April 10 beginning at 2 p.m, the 42nd annual kick-off rally for the Greater Bridgeport CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty), Hunger Walk will take place at Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road, Trumbull. The Walk is set for Sunday, May 22, beginning at 1:30 p.m. At the rally, presentations will be given by Michelle McCabe, Director of Community Engagement and Food Access for the Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport, and Megan Miller of Church World Service. Women's Fellowship luncheon
On Thursday, April 21 at noon, the Women's Fellowship of Unity Hill United Church of Christ will hold their monthly meeting and luncheon at the church, 364 White Plains Road. The program will feature The Benefits of Tea, with Betty Johnson of Bigelow Tea. Hostesses are Marie Seavey and Dorothy Vars. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish or pay $7 at the door. St. Theresa School celebrates its 60th anniversary with dinner, dancing and a silent auction on Saturday, April 30, at Tashua Knolls Restaurant, beginning at 6 p.m. The evening will begin with a reception followed by dinner and culminating with a silent auction. The evening event is a fundraiser to help St. Theresa School fulfill its mission.

Children in grades K-6 are invited to enroll in a new Wednesday-night Kids Club at Long Hill Baptist Church, 100 Middlebrook Ave., (near Middlebook Elementary School), from 7-8:30 p.m. Each meeting will feature games, singing and a Bible study. There is no cost to attend.
Parents are invited to join an adult Bible Study, which also meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.
