Spaghetti dinner and free concert at Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main Street (Route 111). Saturday, March 28, it’s the debut performance of Yale’s renowned co-ed group Red Hot and Blue. They hit all the notes from jazz to Broadway to the Beatles and beyond. Concert is at 7 p.m.
Concert follows our always popular spaghetti and meatball dinners.

Easter for Kids program
The 22nd annual Easter for Kids program will be held at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave., across the street from City Line Florist, on Saturday, March 28, from 1-4 p.m. Children of the community ages 4-11 are invited to enjoy an afternoon which includes an Easter egg hunt, crafts, recreation, singing, snacks and activities about the first Easter. The theme for the event is: “New Life!”

‘Holy Love’ cantata
If you are looking for an emotional and inspirational way to remember Good Friday, April 3, come to Trumbull’s Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St. (Route 111). The church has a history of special cantatas on Good Friday, and this year there’s a brand new one. A cantata is a narrated, musical service.
“Holy Love” will be performed by a 23 member choir, an 11 piece orchestra, and live narration. It is a moving musical journey to Calvary under the direction of Lynn Scully, the noted choir director at Long Hill The 45 minute performance will start at 7:30 p.m., at the church.
