Open house for preschoolers
Long Hill United Methodist Children's Center, 6358 Main St.,  will have an Open House on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9-11 a.m. Parents of children who are, or who are turning 2, 3 and 4-years-old, are invited. You'll see the classrooms, special instruction areas,the playground, gymnasium and more. Staff and administrator will be present as well to speak with and answer your questions.Full and part day programs. New pre-kindergarten program in 2016. Bring the kids so they can see for themselves and play with the toys and equipment.


Vendor and craft show
The Women of St. Stephens Church will be presenting a vendor and craft show on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and on Sunday, Nov. 22, after all the day time masses.

This event will take place in the church hall at 6948 Main St.

Raise the Roof concert
Enjoy an evening of Rock’n Roll from the 70’s to current day with cover band Feedback.  Congregation B’nai Torah, 5700 Main St., presents the Raise the Roof Concert.  Bring old friends and meet new ones on Saturday, Nov. 21; doors open at 7:30.  Ticket prices are $18 to Nov. 16; $20 after and at the door. Spaghetti supper and concert
The next installment of the always sold out spaghetti supper-concert series at Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., (route 111), is set for Saturday, Nov. 21. The dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. Doors will be opened to the public at 5. Dinner includes salad, bread, beverages and dessert and you can purchase meatballs for 50¢ each. This year they’ve started something new. Each gathering, they pick a ticket and that person receives a free dinner the following month.

This month's free concert features classical pianist Michael Maronich, now studying for his Masters of Music degree at the Manhattan School of Music. He often brings musical friends to join him, so you don't want to miss it. For more information, please call 203-954-9691.
Thanksgiving Service
On Monday, Nov. 23 at 8:00 p.m., the annual Thanksgiving service sponsored by the Trumbull Interfaith Council will be at the Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension, 1460 Huntington Tpke. Trumbull clergy and choirs from Trumbull congregations will be in the service. The Rev. Untzag Nalbandian of the host church will preach the Thanksgiving message. Those attending are asked to bring non-perishable food items for Trumbull Social Services. A reception will follow.


Trumbull Interfaith Council meeting

Christmas Tea
On Thursday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m.,, the annual Christmas Tea will be held at Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road, Trumbull, sponsored by the Women's Fellowship. The program will feature the Serendipity Chorale. Devotions will be led by Waltraud Yeager. An offering will be received for the Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport. Holiday Happening Craft Fair
Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., will be holding their Holiday Happening Craft Fair, on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.   There will be 23 vendors selling great Holiday gifts  No Admission.


Christmas for Kids
The annual Christmas for Kids Fest will be held at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave., on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 1-4:00 p.m. Children ages 4-12 are invited for an afternoon of games, crafts, some festive singing, snacks and a presentation entitled "A Christmas By Any Other Name..." as we keep Christ in Christmas. Kids Club
Children in grades k-6 are invited to enroll in a new Wednesday-night Kids Club at Long Hill Baptist Church, 100 Middlebrook Ave., (near Middlebook Elementary School), from 7-8:30 p.m.  Each meeting will feature games, singing and a Bible study. There is no cost to attend.

Parents are invited to join an adult Bible Study, which also meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.
