Thanksgiving Eve services

On Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m., The Armenian Church of the Holy Ascension will host this year's Thanksgiving Eve service at the church, 1460 Huntington Tpke., Trumbull. The Rev. Fr. Untzag Nalbandian is host Pastor. Trumbull clergy and choirs will participate in the annual service. A reception will follow.

Those attending are asked to bring non-perishable food items for Trumbull Social Services. The service is sponsored by the Trumbull Interfaith Committee. Information: call 203-375-1284.

Thanksgiving week services

Members of the community are invited attend special Thanksgiving week services at Long Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, Nov. 23 through Thursday, Nov. 27. Evangelist Dr. Gary Gillmore of South Bend, Indiana will speak nightly at 7 p.m. Services will feature hymn-singing, special music and preaching.

A Thanksgiving morning service will be held at 10 a.m.

On Sunday, Nov. 23, Gillmore will also speak during the church’s regular services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Christmas Tea

On Thursday, Dec. 4, at 1 p.m., the Women's Fellowship of Unity Hill United Church of Christ, 364 White Plains Road, will hold their annual Christmas Tea. The program will feature the singing group, the Park Street Singers. For reservations, call the church at 203-374-8822.

Holiday shopping night

St. Catherine of Siena Church will hold a holiday shopping night at the Parish Center, 210 Shelton Road, in Trumbull on Friday, Dec. 5, from 6:30-9 p.m.

Christmas Craft Fair

Festival of the Nativity

There are many images of Christmas, but the Star of Bethlehem and the manger are the true images of the season. Nichols United Methodist Church is hosting a three day celebration of the Advent season.

There will be more thab 75 varied mangers, works of art, live music, and readings, all tied into the theme of the coming of Christ. The Festival of the Nativity will be held on Friday, Dec, 5, from 6-9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m.-8:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 7, from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

‘We Three Spies’ musical

Calvary Church, 498 White Plains Road, in Trumbull, will hold a Christmas musical, the story of Christmas We Three Spies. It will be performed by the children of Calvary Church on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 4 p.m.
