Rabbi Colin Brodie duct taped for good cause
On Sunday, Jan. 31, Rabbi Colin was duct taped to a wall at Congregation B'nai Torah. This was part of a fundraiser by the religious school students to raise money to purchase Kevlar vests for the Givati Unit of the Israel Defense Force in the north of Israel. Each roll of tape and each strip used was sponsored by pledges. In addition to this event, the students have held many bake sales. Rabbis Colin and Amanda Brodie (organizer of the fundraiser), have agreed to match, penny for penny, everything raised by the bake sales. So far enough funds have been raised to purchase 10 vests.
