Christmas for Kids Fest
The annual Christmas for Kids Fest will be held at Christ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2975 Nichols Ave., in Trumbull, across the street from City Line Florist, on Saturday, Dec. 17, from 1-4 p.m. Children ages 3.5 through 11 are invited for an afternoon of games, crafts, some festive singing, snacks and a presentation entitled Joy to the World, as we keep Christ in Christmas. Parents are welcome to stay or have the afternoon free for holiday preparations.

Holiday concert
The holiday edition of Long Hill United Methodist Church's spaghetti supper/concert series is Saturday, Dec. 18.
Partake in a spaghetti and meatball supper beginning at 5:30 and featuring pasta, salad, bread, beverages and dessert. $12 for adults, $11 for seniors. Homemade meatballs are $.50 each.
After dinner, the free concert begins at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. The Bridgeport Boys Choir will perform alongside the Long Hill choir, musicians and other guests.

Menorah-lighting
The Mishkan Israel Day Camp will once again light a Menorah in celebration of Chanukah on Tuesday, Dec. 27, in front of Trumbull Town Hall. This is the 31st year of the annual tradition, held to raise awareness of the holiday. Dozens of town elected and emergency services officials are expected, as is a contingent of State Police.
Mishkan Israel Day Camp is located in a state of the art facility in the heart of North Stamford, and serves youngsters from throughout the entire Fairfield County area during the summer months.
