There were no upsets in the local General Assembly races Tuesday, with all incumbents cruising to solid wins.

In the 123rd District, Republican State Rep. David Rutigliano defeated challenger Lino Costantini 6,983 to 4,265, a margin of more than 24%.

In the 134th District, which includes parts of Trumbull and Fairfield, Republican Rep. Laura Devlin rolled to a 17% win over Fred Garrity, 9,369 to 6,602.

Bridgeport Democrat Marilyn Moore won another term, defeating Trumbull Finance Board Chairman Elaine Hammers 20,167 to 15,430 in the 22nd Senate District. The district includes all of Trumbull, about one-third of Bridgeport and a small portion of Monroe.

In one other race including Trumbull, Shelton Republican Rep. Ben McGorty is projected to defeat Green Party candidate Angela Capinera for the 122nd House District.
