On Sunday Trumbull’s volunteer firefighters were among those who cheered on the CT United Ride, a charity motorcycle ride remembering 9/11. Above, members of the Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 used Tower 104 and Nichols Quint 303 to elevate an American flag over the roadway for the riders to pass underneath, near Marisa’s. Below, members from Long Hill Stations 1 and 3 await the arrival of the riders. The CT United Ride is the state’s largest 9/11 tribute and is organized by Trumbull resident Fred Garrity.
