Police seek help identifying burglary suspect

Trumbull Police are looking for information on a male suspect who was seen on a bicycle at the scene one of two residential burglaries on the morning of June 26 in town.

Police were called to homes on Walker Road and Thomas Street by residents there who reported their homes were entered. Police determined both burglaries occurred around 9:30 a.m. Monday. The suspect entered both homes (one of which, was occupied by two elderly residents at the time) through windows and stole small items.

Both houses are located off Main Street between the Town Hall area and Stonehouse Rd. Police were able to obtain a surveillance video of the suspect on his bicycle from one of the burglaries. Detectives are asking the public if they recall seeing or speaking to this male yesterday morning to contact police with any information.

Suspect description is a white, possibly Hispanic male, dark hair, blue shirt over light blue shirt, wearing a backpack and riding a bicycle.
