Police investigating carjacking at Trumbull Marriott

A car was stolen at gunpoint from the Trumbull Marriott Thursday morning, according to police.

Lt. Tom Savarese told The Times that around 8:30 a.m. a woman was sitting outside the Marriott hotel in her car, when she was approached by a male with a handgun. He ordered her out of the car and drove off.

The car is a 2013 Ford Fusion, silver, with a New Jersey license plate N73DAB.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5’8”, thin build and about 35 years-old, wearing a dark red sweatshirt and hood with grey pants.

No injuries were reported.
