On Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Trumbull Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will provide the public an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Anyone may bring pills for disposal to the parking lot of Daniels Farm School at 710 Daniels Farm Road. The DEA cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps, only pills or patches.
The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Assisting this year are the Trumbull Partnership Against Underage Drinking & Drugs (TPAUD) and the Trumbull Police Cadets.
