A Trumbull man wanted in Connecticut and Massachusetts was arrested March 1 by Milford and New Haven police following a traffic stop.
Police said Christopher Dahlinger, 27, of Huntington Turnpike, Trumbull is wanted on a variety of charges as well as being a suspect in burglaries committed in Guilford and Amherst, Mass.
Dahlinger is being detained on bonds totaling $130,000 as well as an extradition request pending before a judge in Milford Superior Court. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.
The department’s Tactical Narcotics unit with assistance from New Haven Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement unit took Dahlinger into custody following the 9:20 p.m. traffic stop in New Haven.
Dahlinger is charged in Milford Superior Court with third-degree burglary, first-degree larcency, possession of burglary tools and first-degree criminal mischief stemming from a Nov. 18, 2018 incident.
Additionally he faces two charges of first-degree violation of probation as a result of two separate sentences in Bridgeport’s Golden Hill Street courthouse. The first stems from his June 29, 2017 guilty plea to attempts to commit third-degree burglary and sixth degree larceny. The second stems from his Aug. 15, 2017 guilty plea to possession with the intent to sell narcotics.
No dates for his appearance in Bridgeport have been set.
