Police break up youth party, arrest hosts for providing minors alcohol
Trumbull police arrest a pair of men for providing alcohol to minors and for creating a public disturbance at an apartment on Main Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, July 12.
Dylan Wnukowski, 22, and Austin Wnukowski, 20, were each charged with providing alcohol to minors and for creating a public disturbance after police broke up a party at their apartment and found several youths consuming alcohol.
According a report, police responded to a complaint of a loud party near the area of Main Street and Elizabeth Street.
An investigation revealed there was activity taking place in the rear yard of 6368 Main Street , which drew officers attention to the party that was happening on the third floor of the apartment building.
A police report said officers found youths consuming alcohol and detected a strong smell of marijuana coming from the apartment.
There was partially empty bottles of liquor, the report added, and beer bottles were scattered throughout the kitchen. Several people in the apartment were proven to be underage, the report said.
Dylan was also charged with possession of marijuana under a half ounce. Austin was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by a minor.
The party hosts were processed and released with a promise to appear in court.
