Police arrest suspect in bank robbery
Trumbull Police arrested a Bridgeport man in connection to the robbery of Trumbull’s Newtown Savings Bank earlier this month.
Maurice Orr, 24, was arrested March 21 and charged with conspiracy to commit larceny in the fourth degree and conspiracy to commit first-degree and second-degree robbery.
On March 13, police said a lone gunman entered the bank and demanded money. Police later found the vehicle described as the suspect’s getaway car and said they were reviewing security footage.
