Police: Woman hits multiple stores in shoplifting spree
Police allegedly found more than 50 stolen items in the car of a Norwalk woman, stopped outside Westfield Trumbull.
Police arrested Erika Lucas of Norwalk last Wednesday, after H&M security said they had seen her shoplifting and attempted to stop her.
Authorities found her in the parking lot, finding 35 items stolen from H&M, as well as many other items stolen from Forever 21, Lid’s, Claire’s and Wet Seal. They also found a tool, used to remove security tags, in her car.
She was charged with fifth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device. Her bond was set at $1,000 and she will appear in court Dec. 8.
