Trumbull Police have arrested two Bridgeport men they say have been linked to several home burglaries in the area in late 2014.

Severo Santiago, 45, who has recently been arrested on burglary charges in Easton and Monroe, was charged in Trumbull March 3.

Enrique Soto, 51, was arrested March 6 for allegedly conspiring to commit the burglary with Santiago.

Police say the Trumbull burglary happened in November on Glendale Drive. Jewelry and several items were stolen from a home there.

By working with police in different communities, police were able to identify Santiago and later, Soto, as a person who drove the getaway truck, which had been identified as being at various other reported burglaries in the area.

Santiago was charged with third-degree burglary and first degree larceny. Soto was charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary.
