A man robbed the Shell Station on Route 111 in Trumbull by knifepoint Thursday night.

Trumbull police said that around 9:30 p.m. June 18, a male, described as white, with a thin build and about 5’6” entered the store wearing a dark blue hoodie to conceal his face. He was also wearing grey shorts.

He pulled a knife on the employee behind the counter and demanded the employee open the register. After removing an undetermined amount of cash from the drawer, the suspect ran away.

Canine units from Trumbull and Monroe were called in to attempt to track the suspect but were unable to locate him, police said.
