Police: Man exposed himself at the mall
A 34 year-old Bridgeport man, police say has an extensive criminal history of sex offenses, was arrested Tuesday for allegedly exposing himself in Westfield Trumbull mall.
Ronald Dudley of 593 Stillman St. was apprehended and detained by mall security July 9. Two women reported seeing Dudley exposing himself near the mall's bus stop. When Dudley realized police had been called he tried to get away and security had to forcibly subdue him, Deputy Chief Michael Harry said. When police arrived they arrested Dudley and charged him with public indecency, breach of peace and third-degree assault.
He was held on a $50,000 bond and is to be arraigned today at Bridgeport Circuit Court. Police say Dudley has an extensive criminal history of sex offenses in Georgia and New York.
If anyone has had similar encounters, police encourage them to contact their respective police departments.
