The Trumbull Police Department made the following arrests between Tuesday, July 14 and Monday, July 20:
Gang fight
A Bridgeport man was arrested for breach of peace in the second degree at Bridgeport Superior Court around 10 a.m. Thursday, July 16.
Police said Hakeem Atkinson, 20, was part of a gang fight that occurred at the Trumbull Westfield Mall on Feb. 14.
According to police, about five or six people from two separate gangs were caught on video fighting inside the mall. By the time police responded, all the people involved had dispersed.
The following day, on Feb. 15, there was a driveby gang-related shooting with no injuries in Norwalk, police said.
A Norwalk detective was able to connect the shooting back to the fight by identifying all the suspects invovled in the Trumbull police video.
Trumbull police said that Atkinson was additionally identified as a participant in the fight through a social media post.
According to police, several partipants in the fight turned themselves in on outstanding warrants but Atkinson never did.
He was delivered the outstanding warrant while attending court last week, police said.
He was processed and released on a $500 bond.
DUI
A Monroe woman was arrested for driving under the influence on Nichols Avenue at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, July 16.

According to a report, she failed all the field sobriety tests and was brought back to police headquarters where she refused a Breathalyzer test.
She was processed and released with a promise to appear in court Monday, Aug. 3.
