Police — Driver flashed jogger, tried to get her into car

Police are searching for a male driver that allegedly exposed himself to a female jogger and tried to convince her to get into his car March 14.

According to reports the jogger was running on Huntington Tpke. near the Nichols baseball fields in the Unity Road area around 5 p.m. when a male in his car exposed himself to her.

The jogger said she had seen a small blue car parked next to a larger white vehicle in the park’s parking area. As she exited the park and began running along the road, the blue car began following her and the driver, described as a white male in his mid-to-late 50s, balding and wearing round white-framed glasses and a button-down shirt, pulled the car alongside her. The driver exposed himself while asking her repeatedly if she wanted a ride and asking her to get into his car.

The female was able to run away unharmed, and the male drove away. The car had an orange-colored out-of-state license plate possibly including the characters 622FJ.
