Police: Corrections officer pointed gun during fight
A Lake Avenue resident was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at a family member during a dispute April 25.
Police were called to the home of David Siberon, 53, after midnight Saturday morning. The argument started when he came home late from a work shift, police said.
Police said Siberon is a corrections officer and allegedly pointed his weapon, with a finger on the trigger, at a family member during an argument. Police said Siberon denied the claim. When police arrived, they said he was sitting on the front porch and cooperated with police, putting his gun down beside him on the porch.
He was charged with threatening in the first degree, first degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
Bond was set at $25,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court April 27.
