Trumbull EMS will be hosting a free “Hands-Only CPR” event taking place on Thursday Jan. 16.

People who experience cardiac arrest need quick cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the first 3-5 minutes to increase their chance of survival, according to EMS Chief Joseph Laucella. CPR training is one way to increase the number of people in our community who are prepared to help in cardiovascular emergencies.

Residents can choose to participate in one of the two sessions. The first session will begin at 6 p.m. and the second session will begin at 7:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place at Trumbull EMS located at 250 Middlebrooks Avenue. There is no certification card with this class.

Seating is limited. For more information or to RSVP, please call 203-452-5146.
