Emergency Medical Technician class starting Sept. 21 at Trumbull EMS
The Emergency Medical Technician course is designed for anyone interested in learning more about Emergency Medical Services. Each student upon successful completion of the class will be eligible to take the state certification exam.
As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide basic life support to those who are sick or injured in a pre-hospital setting. Certified Emergency Medical Technicians work on ambulances along-side other EMT’s and Paramedics. Many certified EMT’s use their skills in other healthcare and public safety jobs and settings.

Class is offered to those interested over the age of 16. For parents with any questions, do not hesitate to contact EMS Instructor and Chief of EMS, Joseph Laucella at 203-452-5146. Seating is limited to the first 20 students who are paid in full. All registrations and payment should be received by Tuesday, Sept. 20.
Class tuition is $950 ($850 for Trumbull resident with proof of residency) which includes book, CPR Card and class polo shirt. Students will need to wear Blue EMT Cargo Pants and black boots to practical sessions and clinical rotations. Each student will be provided a polo shirt that will be required to be worn on identified practical sessions and at clinical rotations.
Class runs from Sept. 21, through Jan. 11. Class will meet on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 6-10 p.m. at their headquarters, 250 Middlebrooks Ave. Please note there is one Saturday Mail check and registration forms to Trumbull EMS: 250 Middlebrooks Ave., Trumbull, CT 06611.
Trumbull EMS requires 12 students to be enrolled and paid in full by Sept. 20 to run the class. If the class is cancelled, all enrolled candidates will be returned any tuition in full.
