A Bridgeport man was arrested for criminal mischief in the third degree, assault in the third degree and disorderly conduct at an Abric Drive home at 1:01 a.m. Sunday, May 15.
Police said Juan Blandin, 42, punched his girlfriend in the stomach and in her arm after a verbal dispute that started when the couple was at a Bridgeport nightclub earlier in the evening.
According to a report, Blandin and his girlfriend were at Club Azul before they got into an argument and left.
Blandin drove the victim to her Abric Drive residence and began to hit her, the report said, before the victim’s 13-year-old daughter called 911 to report the domestic violence.
Police said the woman had marks on her arms but refused medical attention.
Blandin keyed the victim’s car before police arrived on the scene, according to the report, which resulted in the criminal mischief charge.
He was brought to Trumbull police headquarters where he was processed and released on a $5,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in court Monday, May 16.
