An alert neighbor in the Nichols section of town helped police capture two males Tuesday involved in a burglary, according to Trumbull Police.

The neighbor observed two young males acting suspiciously near her home and called police.

Police quickly apprehended two males, one a juvenile and the other identified as Phifer Olugbemiga, 18, of 86 North Stowe Place in town.

The juvenile was charged with burglary in the third-degree and interfering with an officer, after which he was released into the custody of his mother.

Olugbemiga was charged with burglary in the third degree and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. He was held on a $250 bond.

The house was vacant and there was no damage and nothing taken, police said.
