Thomas Simers and James Lang III United in marriage in May

James "Jimmy" Lang III and Thomas Simers were united in marriage on Saturday, May 17, 2014, at the Friendly Crossways Retreat Center in Harvard, Mass. Mary Marcel of Waltham, Mass., officiated the double ring ceremony.

Lang is the son of James and Marilyn Lang of Trumbull. He is the grandson of the late Francis and Rachel Lang of East Liverpool, and the late John "Jack" and Betty Hosken formerly of Shaker Heights.

He is a 1992 graduate of Trumbull High School, a 1997 graduate of Sacred Heart University with a bachelor's degree in psychology, a 2002 graduate of Fairfield University with a master's degree in educational technology, and a 2011 graduate of Boise State University with a certificate in workplace e-learning and performance support. He is currently employed as a training specialist at City Electric Supply in Marshfield, Mass.

Lang was attended by his cousin, Karen Zelevinsky of Sharon, Mass.

Simers is the son of Cindy Simers and the late George "Mike" Simers of Lowell. He is the grandson of Betty L. Simers and the late Clyde Simers Sr. of Lowell, and the late Carl and Dolores Hofmann of Waterford.

He is a 2000 graduate of Fort Frye High School, and a 2008 graduate of Marietta College with a bachelor's degree in intercultural communication. This fall, he will matriculate at Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, Mass.

Simers was attended by his friend, Jason Weber, of East Boston, Mass.

The couple reside in Quincy, Mass.
