The Language of Letting Go support group meet first and third Tuesdays
Does life sometimes seem to overwhelm you? Are you going in a million directions to please others? Have you lost track of your own priorities? Do you feel your relationships are out of balance?
A new support group based on Melodie Beatty’s book, The Language of Letting Go, begins at Grace Church on May 21 at 7 p.m. The group is for those who find they often feel as if they are struggling in their life, their relationships or their self image. Melodie Beatty has written extensively on the topic of recovering from co-dependency, and in The Language of Letting Go, she presents helpful insights about how to accept one’s powerlessness over the world and others, yet at the same time to claim one’s own inner power.
The Language of Letting Go group will meet in the office of Grace Episcopal Church, 5958 Main St., on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30 p.m. The group will be facilitated by The Rev. Nancy Gage LADC, the deacon at Grace Church, and by Donna Voges RN, Grace Church’s parish nurse.
