On Tuesday, May 6, at 6:30 p.m., in the Trumbull Library’s Community Room, join author, David Lee Tucker as he celebrates the release of this final book of the trilogy, Stone Wall Freedom - The Slave, awarded First Place for Best Fiction in 2012 from the Connecticut Press Club.

The series is a fictional story inspired by the beauty and rich history of Block Island. This book deftly picks up the threads of the first two stories, weaves a new one all its own and then ties the three together with some satisfying surprises. While post-Revolutionary America is in disarray, struggling to find its bearings and moral compass, one island democracy seeks to resolve the conflict between its economic interests and slave freedom.
