What's happening at Frenchtown School

No school on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26. School members will march in the Memorial Day Parade. Participants will meet by Luigi’s in Trumbull at 9:45 a.m. Notices to sign up have been sent home.

Tuesday, May 27, Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29, grade 1 classes will be having Authors’ Teas at 2 p.m. Invitations will be going home from the classroom teachers with their chosen date.

Picnic for students only will be on Tuesday, May 27, during lunch shifts.

Citizenship Day is Tuesday, May 27. Wear red, white and blue.

Wednesday, May 28 at 9 a.m., will be the kindergarten bus ride for incoming kindergartners for students whose last name start with A-L and Thursday, May 29, again at 9 a.m., will be for those whose last name beginning with M-Z.

All classes in grades K-4 will have their classroom science project on display in the lobby from Tuesday, May 27 until Friday, May 30. The 12 grade 5 students who represented Frenchtown at the State Invention Convention at UConn will also have their boards on display.

Friday, May 30, grade 1 classes will be going to the Trumbull Public Library and grade 2 classes will participate in their Community Workers Fair at 9:30 a.m.

In-school concert for the grades 2 and 5 Chorus Concert at 1:45 p.m.
