Christian Heritage School

The last Take a Look Tour for parents of prospective K-12 students will be on Tuesday, May 14 at 9 a.m.

Moms In Prayer meets every Monday morning right after drop-off from 7:45-8:45 a.m., in the conference room.

Daniels Farm School

Teacher appreciation week is next week. The PTA is looking for food or monetary donations to help sponsor the teacher luncheon on Wednesday, May 8. Contact Lesley Guzzetta or Deirdre Finnegan to help or get more information.

Jump Rope for Heart is Friday, May 3, from 3:15-4:30 p.m.

The DFS Variety Show will be on Friday, May 17. Practice schedule changes: Friday, May 10, all acts practice at DFS. Wednesday, May 15, dress rehearsal at THS. Attendance is mandatory at all rehearsals. Tickets are $4 each and are now on sale. Contact Danielle Forma for more information.

The DFS Father’s Club is hosting its first Kids Fun Run on Sunday, May 19, at 11 a.m., on the Old Field Road trail. Prizes will be given for highest participation by class; $5 per person walking/running with a family maximum of $20. Sign up by May 15.

The PTA is looking for volunteers to assist the kindergartners during lunch hours, to help in the Media Center, for food donations during Teacher Appreciation week, Jump Rope for Heart, plant sale and the Variety Show. Visit the DFS website and click on the iVolunteers link to sign up and help.

Frenchtown School

May’s Character Pillar of the Month is Fairness, and it is Asian Pacific American Heritage month.

Teachers and staff will be honored throughout the week of May 6 in observance of Teacher Appreciation Week.

Students and staff should wear blue and white for Spirit Day on Tuesday, May 7.

The PTA Plant Sale will be Thursday, May 9 for students, and Friday, May 10 for all.

The district wide Cultural Diversity meeting will be Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at Frenchtown.

Jane Ryan School

Middlebook School

The Wellness Committee is seeking a parent volunteer to take over the Terracycling at Middlebrook as well as doing one or two presentations on Recycling to our student reps. during next year’s program. We are celebrating the final days of Teacher Appreciation week at Middlebrook and wish to thank all the wonderful teachers and staff who are such an important part of our children’s lives.

Tashua School

The Academic Excellence Committee will meet on Friday, May 3, from 7:458:15 a.m., in the Library/Media Center.

Staff Appreciation Week is May 6-10. Students are asked to wear their teacher’s favorite color on Tuesday. On Thursday, students are asked to wear red in honor of the specials staff. Other activities and treats have been planned throughout the week.

The School Store will be open on Wednesday, May 8, from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Tashua’s annual Mother’s Day plant sale will be held on Friday, May 10, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Tashua School Variety Show will be held at Madison Middle School at 7 p.m. on Friday evening, May 10.

Wednesday, May 16 and Thursday, May 17: Scholastic Book Fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Parents welcome.

Student’s artistic creations will be on display at the Tashua Art Show on Wednesday, May 16, from 7-8:30 p.m.

The Tashua Country Fair is coming to town on Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Food, games, inflatables, prizes, auction and much more, fun for the whole family. Open to the public.
